Sewing for Keeps

Stitchery Dickery Dock has come up with a brilliant way to focus on why we do what we do as sewers or crafters. It's the pledge of doing it because you truely enjoy it and it brings enrichment to your life. I have been around sewing and crafting my whole life and it has made me who I am today. It is something that even when life has ups and downs, you can come back to and find a part of yourself in fabrics and creating just because. In my elementary school days as a beginner sewer I would make things for our neighbors in the apartment building and give them away just for the sheer joy of giving something you handmade to someone you care about. I still do that! People also love receiving items that are handmade and from the heart. In our busy lives, you took time to make something and give it away. Even if you sell your items there is nothing wrong with that and as a maker it gives you the feeling of fullfilment. I sew for me, I sew for my family and I sew for you. I want my customers through Live Laugh Sew to have a sense of happiness when they see my products and the fabrics that I pair together. I want them to see pattern and color in a new way as I choose them all purposly. Hopefully you will know who I am more through my products and want to
